Morioka Castle Site Park盛岡城跡公園

The stone walls of Morioka Castle, now a city park, with the history museum beside it.
The Morioka History and Culture Museum next door: April–October 9:00–19:00, November–March 9:00–18:00; closed the third Tuesday. Its history gallery upstairs: adults ¥450; the ground floor is free.
