Sendai Castle site仙台城跡

Loople Sendai bus from the West Exit (stand 16), about 23 min

Where the Date clan’s castle stood, with the statue of Date Masamune on horseback and a view over the city.

The grounds are open at any hour; the Sendai Castle Kenbunkan is free, 9:00–17:00 every day. City buses up here run about once an hour.

Zuihōden瑞鳳殿

Loople Sendai bus, 15 min to Zuihōden-mae, then about 7 min on foot

9:00–16:50 (last entry 16:30); December–January to 16:20. Closed 31 December. Adults ¥570. The Loople bus runs every 20 minutes, 9:00–16:00, ¥260.
