Guardian shrine of Nippori and Yanaka, founded in 1205, with a large ginkgo tree and a view from the hilltop.
Near the Fujimizaka slope and Seiunji Temple; the city lists about 20 minutes for a visit.

Hilltop park above the station where you can look down on the JR platforms and tracks.
It sits up a slope from the station, so expect a short climb.
