Kaminarimon Gate雷門
Exit 1 · about 1–3 min walk
The “Thunder Gate” with its giant red lantern, the front door to Sensō-ji.
Crowds build from late morning. Come early for a clear photo.
Nakamise-dōri仲見世通り
Straight on through the gate
A lane of snack and souvenir stalls running up to the temple’s inner gate.
Most stalls open around 10:00.
Sensō-ji Main Hall浅草寺 本堂
At the far end of Nakamise-dōri
Tokyo’s oldest temple. A paper omikuji fortune costs about ¥100 here.
The hall is open 6:00–17:00 (from 6:30, October–March); the grounds are always open.
Kappabashi Dōgu-gaiかっぱ橋道具街
About 10–15 min walk west; Tawaramachi (G18) is closer
The kitchen-tool street: knives, pottery, lacquerware and plastic food samples.
Roughly 9:00–17:00, and many shops close on Sundays and holidays.
