Station tips
- Kyoto Station is about 5 minutes away (the shrine’s figure). All Miyakoji Rapid and Regional Rapid trains stop here, as well as locals.
- Coin lockers, ICOCA gates. Staff are on duty 7:00–20:30 and from 23:00 to the last train.
- Keihan Fushimi-inari is about 5 minutes west on foot, down the approach street.
Inari · for Fushimi Inari Taisha
The station building is on the platform 2 side (for Uji and Nara); platform 1, for Kyoto, is over the footbridge, and there are lifts. Fushimi Inari Taisha is right outside: step out and the big red torii and the main approach are in front of you.

Always open and free. The full summit loop takes 2–3 hours; early morning is quietest. Eat only in the rest areas.
