About 15–20 min on foot, or 5 min by bus from stand 7 or 3
A palm-lined town beach at the heart of the hot-spring town, lit up every evening.
Free. Lit from sunset to 22:00. Fireworks over the bay on 12 and 25 Oct, 8 and 23 Nov, 6 and 25 Dec 2026, 20:20–20:40.
MOA Museum of ArtMOA美術館
Tokai Bus from stand 8, about 7 min to the last stop
A hilltop art museum with wide views over Sagami Bay; home to Ogata Kōrin’s plum-blossom screens.
9:30–16:30, last entry 16:00; ¥2,000, cards accepted. Closed Thursdays (open on holidays) and on some other days. The plum screens are shown 9 Jan–24 Feb 2027.
Kiunkaku起雲閣
Izu-Hakone Bus from stand 1 or 2, about 10 min
A 1919 villa, later an inn, mixing Japanese, Chinese and European styles around a garden.
9:00–17:00, last entry 16:30; ¥610. Closed Wednesdays and 26–30 Dec.
